It is a mountain village located at the foot of the Aravis mountain range in the Alps. Winter in Grand-Bornand is the guarantee of practicing all forms of skiing, on a nuanced ski area: alpine skiing, night skiing, biathlon, fatbike, pony-sled... enough to vary the joys of winter sports! The Grand-Bornand alpine ski area is 90 km of slopes, 47 descents and 24 ski lifts. The alpine ski area of the Massif des Aravis (including La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt with shuttle links between the resorts) is 211.25 km of slopes, 133 descents and 80 ski lifts. 270 snow cannons contribute to covering more than 50% of the groomed slopes.
