Advantages
Compact resort with some fabulous restaurants and bars. Very easy to come down into resort to eat which was cheaper than being up the mountain. The skiing area is lovely and I preferred it to La Plagne which was always very busy.
Inconveniences
The snow isn't great lower down but it isn't anywhere this season.
Good deals
Betty's in the main village near the Sherpa. The Mont Blanc bar has great apres ski, a comedy night, a band night etc. If you are travelling on your own Hucksters ski holidays will sort you out with a shared room with someone else, their half board is much much cheaper than renting a studio for one
